Nice wagon wheel.
Started the ceiling job. Moved bed out of way, vacuumed all the dust bunnies..sanded the tape job I did years ago when I took out the skylight, pulled some old tape out of another joint, retaped that seam and added mud to the patch area. Mud was too dry, so not a very good job, but it will sand out. Hopefully dry tomorrow so I can do it again.

Storm came thru little bit ago, got a good rain we needed. Might get another storm soon.

"The Lancet announced today that it has retracted a highly cited study that suggested hydroxychloroquine may cause more harm than benefit in patients with COVID-19."
Two Journals Retract Studies on HCQ, Heart Disease in COVID-19

So now Hydroxychloroquine is OK in treating Covid19. ? The negative studies did not pass the test. It gets scary when medical and political cross the line. Two more reads.

Successful day! Slow, hot, but productive. We got all the trim on the shed painted and second coated. Most of it all up high on the eaves and gables. I set up two scaffolds. So that made it a lot easier. Tomorrow will entail painting the siding to match the house. We are going out there early... high temp supposed to hit 98....

In between breaks out of the sun, I was able to spray the park bench opposite sides. They will be ready for assembly, but I still have to cut , route the edges, sand, and stain the slats.... that will not happen until next week sometime.

Did some takeout for dinner... just burgers and onion rings. Now going to relax and have a bowl of blueberry cheesecake swirl ice cream....

Pretty good start on the garden today.
I had previously posted where I had tilled and then tested to learn how poor our soil. I did add dolomite lime to help with ph.

So I decided not to do a traditional row garden rather rather rows of small hills of compatible plants. Read of corn doing well in hills and

So laid out 3 rows, hills 4 ft apart. Added some triple 16.

Then I dumped about 5gal of garden soil over each spot.
IMG_1696.JPG (29 if counting)

A couple weeks ago I started some seed. Here is a corn start.
IMG_1697.JPG
I was pretty impressed how well the roots developed.

So 10 hills with 3 each corn starts, 2 rows seeded with bush bean, 1 row zucchini and cucumber, 9 hills with 3 sections of sprouted potato (ash coated per Don) with tomato start in middle. 3 hills, 4 starts each Kai Choy, 6 hills squash starts and cucumber seed.

Still want to add a 3 compatible seed like carrots, radish, etc.

Need to add another row for my pepper starts, but they are behind so a few more days in starter.

Need to revisit things like cauliflower, eggplant, Brussel sprouts that didn’t germinate. Will also start a second corn crop.
