Mostly-(
Randy how long till the Dr review the heart monitor info?)

The doctor gets it real time, then the lab analyzes the totality and sends a report. Not sure when I’ll hear.
Doc called me the day after I got it to tell me I was going in and out of Afib and that he was changing medication.

30 outside this AM. Heading to lower 60's. The squirrel family seems to have disappeared yesterday? Very odd. After the hangout and explore mode the other day, strange.
Did not get to lawn. Got a side job call. Sort of need the cash.
Daughters still in the ER down south. But get this, they have cut back staffing. Of course she said yesterday they got slammed. I guess everyone is trying to find that balance.

As I look out the front this AM, the pasture is frosty white, the bird baths have ice in them, and the sun is coming up over the tree line.

Got to do the grass, the weather doesn't look too good these next few days for mowing.

Hope all have a good day. Be safe.

If you guys saw what the PO does with the parcel post, you would NEVER use their service. 'Handle with care' translates to throw it. 'Fragile' translates to throw it harder.

:laughing:Yep, I was a clerk in the Dallas, TX Post office from 1959 to 1964. I told my family that, if they had a package to send through the mail, package it, then throw it against the wall as hard as they could. If it couldn't survive 3 or 4 times of that, it probably couldn't survive the post office. And when I worked a window (taking in mail) I stamped "Handle with care" or "Fragile" on packages when requested to do so, and of course that meant absolutely nothing.

Good Morning!!!! 59F @ 4:00AM. Sun and clouds mixed. High 76F. Winds SSE at 10 to 15 mph.

That painting cost you ten dollars, Kyle, but it's worth a whole lot more on several levels, right?

Odd you should mention "drought", Eric. This story from the BBC seems a bit sensational, inventing the new term "megadrought", and aiming it squarely at the Western US. But it seems particularly appropriate considering that Northern California has received somewhere around half the usual rain/snow it usually gets over a winter and spring.

Another sure sign of spring, Ron!

Not to raise an alarm, but this troubling story out of South Dakota could signal trouble for us meat eaters if it proves to be more than a few localized incidents.

On a more positive note, the death rate in California, so far at least, is well below predictions, and seems to be due to our lower population density, and our car culture. Who'd a thought we'd be saved by urban sprawl?

Moved a few more things out of the garage yesterday, clearing the way to install conduit and electrical components for the solar power system. It was warm enough to paint in the late afternoon, and I got a few interior pieces painted for the van. It'll be nice to have a glove box!

Called the Kubota dealer yesterday, and two and a half days after dropping it off, they haven't even looked at the tractor yet. But it's at the top of the list belonging to the mechanic assigned to it.

Today's challenge is to get the pump house cleared out enough to run conduit in there. It's a real mess...

2020-04-17,

Up way too early!

31 right now...high in the mid-40's today. All this cold weather is my fault. I bought two straw hats for summer use and this is payback.
