Good evening all. 61F for the start, rain in the area, trace in the rain gauge. Wind was light to start but was strong again today. most of the rain that did fall, was in the morning. Overcast all day and low temp is about 39F, high temp was 65F at midnight. Cooked most of the day, started with a chicken cassolette, that was dinner, then Southwest chicken sausage and rice dis for lunch. Got a bit much orange in cassolette, otherwise very good and lunch was real good. Scored 2 gallons of milk and some 1/2 & 1/2 for the wife. We thought we were done with the insert for the season but wife requested a fire about 3 and it warmed the house up nicely.
Cooke county still at 0 cases, Grayson at 12 now, Montague at 2 now.
David, what a relaxed dog Nice work on the blocks, you could do concrete in some of the holes.
Roy, glad you were able to improve the gun.

Almost forgot to mention.... THANK YOU! For all your prayers and positive thoughts.... My daughter got the Covid19 test results back.... NEGATIVE!
Needless to say, we are very relieved!

My BIL and sister have not gotten their results. BIL has been 11 days now.

Good morning.

My wife found the supermarket better stocked yesterday than it has been for weeks. Not quite back to normal and strange that items like fresh milk are on limited sales, though at least I won't have to climb the ladder to get to the roof moss for a while as she came back with a pack of 9 top quality TP rolls. The day was going well, then I heard a cry for help and went into the kitchen to see her with one leg dripping in olive oil and a 1 litre sized pool of it slowly creeping along the floor, leaving behind a trail containing dozens of sticky glass shards from where the bottle hit the tiled floor. Fortunately no cuts, just a messy thing to clear up ! Good news is that my hands have never been so soft :laughing:

My dogs are on some kind of guard mission in the front yard... or maybe they are mad at each other...

Good morning, the overnight temp was 36°F and the high will be about 52. No wind. Partly sunny today.

I think this will be the end of the maple syrup run. I should be getting mine soon.

Another town run today but this one is local.

Yes! Breakfast this morning will be a tomato and cheese omelet and some home fries.

colder this morning, about 43 out now going up to 71 in sunshine.
Thankfully I got all the remaining plants out of the greenhouse, climbed to 110 degrees in there yesterday.

Figure I can stay home for the next week easily with food stored; slowly managed to fill garage freezer, now I just need to stay away from everyone else.

Flowers in big garden starting to pop up, never done a broadcasted seed garden, looks a little bare in spots, then too full in other areas.
Likely operator error in application...

44 going to 64, and not so windy as the last 2 days, but not crystal clear blue skies, either.

Hope you have a great anniversary, BEF and lucky wife. I got a Walmart pickup slot by logging on to their website first thing in the early morning...the slot was for the following day. I thought their interface was smooth and the changes to the order, too.

LS, a very neat looking place, and those are fast growing pines. When a pine forest here is harvested, they are replanted as seedlings, and would barely gain that height or less in 2 years. Happy for your daughter.

Here is the chupra coyote...turns out that he got caught on the trail cam about a half hour before I saw him in the field. Also a red fox for comparison, although it is closer to the camera, so not quite a true comparo.

43 high of 60 today not near as breezy need straw and more grass seed. Truck has been tied up so no wood cut for bench maybe freed up today so can finish that job
