Been busy the last couple mornings, had to go to the bank a few times to sign paperwork about the fraud stuff, a couple runs to a few stores for grocery stuff, and the hardware store for some things. All taking longer than expected due to limits of number of people allowed in the stores. That痴 ok... I would rather wait than have someone coughing or sneezing too close to me.
Did some re-planting of pine trees and shrubs into bigger containers. Made a landscape bed out of 5 inch round posts, used the tractor to lift the now unmovable big planters into place, the filled the bed with about 6 bucket loads of mulch. Ran a drip irrigation system up into the planters.
These pine trees were propagated from seed 3 years ago, the lilac shrubs were propagated from clippings 2 years ago. Wifey has a green thumb for sure! She has 3 trays of flowers ready to go, but our nights have been dropping below freezing, so another week or so before they get planted.
Tomorrow will be making similar beds across the front, then the driveway side. Three more big pines and a bunch more lilacs in containers.
