Was 25 earlier while out feeding birds and enjoying the cold air. Heavy frost melting now by the sun.
Ron, very nice your GGD's school has a Veterans event, and that she had such good participation. Enjoy your time with your aunt.
David, what a great job you always do...great looking battery bank.
All the photos of great food had me motivated yesterday...but I cheated...took my wife to our favorite Tex-Mex place...started to take a photo of the chile relleno and post but decided that would really be cheating. I did get a good gym workout done before lunch, so didn't have to feel as guilty eating so much.
Then went over to Lowe's where I have a gift card, to look at new loppers and DeWalt batteries. Didn't buy either. Loppers weren't heavy duty enough. As for the battery, I decided I need to do more research. I've been using have a nice set of 18V rechargeable tools I bought maybe 8 or 10 years ago. Had to buy a set of replacement batteries 5 years ago, and one of those is dead...so trying to decide the next step now that I have only 1 battery.
Their new standard seems to be 20V, and the tools are lighter weight. But, I can get an adapter that fits my tools and allows the use of 20V batteries (those of the lower amp hour levels). I may go this route rather than buying more 18V batteries or replacing my tools...which if I did, I might look at the newer 60V/20V series. I've been very satisfied with this set of 18V tools, and have kept them in good shape.
Sharpened up my chainsaw yesterday, so guess I'll be taking that over to the dead maple and dogwood trees today. Then cleaning up and planting the deodar.
Hope Eric has perfected his nappy skills.
