glow plugs

i own 3016 do you cycle glow plugs in this heat or just start it and will it hurt anything if i just start it.I used to just start my last 3 tractors with no issues but this is my first mahindra thanks

A start is a start.
If it fires up w/o plugs then you simply lengthen the plug life.
My tractor is a mid 80's and still sport the factory plugs and I don't always use plugs to start but then again I even use them in summer at times.

Different tractors operate differently, some need more pre heat than others and some use heat even if you are not aware it is applied.
Generally I crank for a few spins and if no joy I opt for a bit of heat if nothing else but to save battery and starter.
