Glow plug light stays on

The light on the dash stays on when tractor is running. I have read the prior posts on this subject and replaced the glow plug relay and the timer key stop without any change. What's the next steps to diagnose? I have already invested a good chunk of $ and time going for the easy quick stuff. Now it seems like I need a more organized, thorough scheme to diagnose. Thanks in advance for any advice.

You can see if the glow plugs are actually energized all the time with a voltmeter on the plugs. It's possible only the light is on. Check to see if the glow plug relay is energized. This should give a starting point for your troubleshooting.

Replaced it, nothing changed.

If the glow plugs are energized,is your alternator keeping up or is the battery going dead?
That must be like a 40-50 amp load.

Okay, the glow plugs are energized. The glow plug relay is either energized or stuck. See if it's energized (it probably is). From there you need to determine why. What kind of controller provides input into the relay. Why? A schematic would be a big help. You may get more information on Orange Tractor Talks.
