Global / euro unexpected benefit with bucket

Hello,

Only have about 45 hours of seat time with my global / euro attachment system on a 5m series tractor at this point.

One thing I didn’t realize when I ordered it is how the bucket would swing freely when in the fully forward dump position. This really helps ensure all of the material is out of the bucket. I like it.

Does the Deere attachment system behave the same way? I know the SSQA does not.

What do you mean the bucket swings forward freely? I briefly ran a friend’s loader with global and the bucket was rigidly mounted not swinging around.

Mine does not swing around when dumped. You sure you have the bottom pins pushed out into the steel loops on the bucket?
I think there might be a misunderstanding of what you mean.

What I am trying to say is in the fully forward or near fully forward position there is some play in the loader attachment. Here’s a video with my forks attached. In the video I am moving them by hand. It’s the same with the bucket. It is not loose like this at other positions within the curl radius. Is this not normal?

That looks like normal play to me. My loader has 6500 hours on it and it has plenty of play like that

While the SSQA doesn’t swing as freely like you noticed with your setup, the Deere design still lets the bucket dump pretty cleanly, but you’ll need to use a little more control to make sure all the material empties. If you’re looking for that extra swing action, the global attachment system seems to have the edge.
