Lost in Space was good. Pigs In Space was far better. Sadly my wife figured out Seat Time a long time ago and keeps her own hour meter running. The hour I spent today cleaning bowls out and replacing the fuel filters counts as seat time to her. I am touching the tractor and not something else of her choice after all. ;-)

I'm too young to remember, but my dad sure does. ;)

Kyle, you did not miss a thing.. it was a stupid show in a different time..we were so starved for entertainment we would watch anything. And after all the setting of this stupid show was in "outer space" a big deal to us back then.

Yeah we all say that now but back then...........the show was just about everything. Go figure.

JDGreen's wife know's about "Seat Time"??

Us Seinfeld fans would say "His worlds are colliding"

Hopefully my wife does not know his! :D

I actually liked Lost In Space. There was a lot of cool hardware in that show like laser guns, jet packs, and the chariot. Trivia Alert! The chariot, that tracked vehicle they always blasted around in, was a modified snow cat built by the Thiokol company. Thiokol later became Morton-Thiokol and built the solid fuel rocket boosters for the space shuttle. Ok, back to your regularly scheduled program.

Are you aware of the shows that are on today? I don't think that today has anything to brag about over yesterday. The picture is better now, but the content generally sucks.

I was a little younger, as I remember, but now that you mention it..yeah. But I pretty much hated Dr. Smith. Oh don't get me wrong, I was a big fan of the show at the time. And as others have pointed out, a lot of todays programming really sucks. But Lost is Space would seem pretty inane today.

I really disliked the Dr. Smith character also , but I guess in a sitcom such as that, ya kinda need someone of his 'caliber' to keep people focused on the rest of the show.

P.S. I don't think I ever missed an episode, LOL.
