Is there something else I need to do besides pulling up on the lever by the fender?
thanks

Couple of things: I'm assuming you mean a Mahindra....2nd: Suggest you ask on the Mahindra forum (located under "Other Majors"). Now...yes you need to push in the clutch first, pull all the way up on the handle. To take it out you need to push in the clutch, push all the way down and then (I do this as I'm a Ford guy and am used to their 4WDs) back up about 5 to 10 feet to absolutely disengage....Don't run on asphalt/hard surface roads in 4WD. I seldom have to use mine as the weight of the tractor usually is enought to get the needed traction...BobG in VA

You know, now that I'm thinking about it, follow the Up/Down instructions on the label on the fender---tells you when its in or out of 4WD. But push in the clutch no matter what....BobG in VA
