If cool and dry you will find it holds up well. Where is the cave they are keeping frozen seed in case of disaster to crops? Some where like Norway I think. It is easy to run a test on the seed, if not mistaken you take a few paper towers and dampen them, placed seed on these and cover with a few more damp towels. Need to be kept warm (not hot) and you count the percentage the sprouted to get the ratio as does the labs.
Now, seeds kept in a hot shed, trash them. Or at least roundup soybeans. Wasted a few acres of planting a few years back.
