This is without question the slowest site I visit...I'm on dial-up at home and often times its just way too painful to sit thru, so I usually visit here while I'm at work /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Yeah same here for me. I cna't even psot comments. It takes so long for the post to go through most of the time I jsut end up closing hte browser.

i jsut tried to add a 50k photo, now that is real small and after 15 minutes of it jsut crawing to accept the photo I quit. I did it twice. Just generally the forums have been slow to load and almost impossible to post. I hope this information helps you.

Even if you send a private PM it crawls to the point where I don't send them to much. Seems like it has been this way for a couple weeks now but it takes a while before you become so frustrated that you actually stop and take the time to notify management. If it matters any I ususally un check the box that says I want to preview my post.

Anything over 12 hours the page does not load. Correciton on my timing, that was 4 1/2 minutes for that first psot of mine to go through. I have DSL and do not have slow response anywhere else, jsut on this website.

This morning, after I checked the weather report and a couple of newspapers on the Internet, I tried to go to Countrybynet, waited a couple of minutes, and when it didn't come up, I tried Tractorbynet with the same results. So I closed the browser without ever getting to either one, and went on to do some mowing and other things. When I came back later in the day, it was working fine. However, a couple of days ago, I had the same thing happen except I wasn't going to do something else, so I waited and when pages loaded, they showed to have been generated in fractions of a second, so I suspect the problem then, and possibly today, was somewhere in the routing and not TBN's server. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I posted 5 pictures, around 80K each, last night from home. I am on 28.8 dial-up. Each picture took about 30 seconds to upload. I then viewed them to make sure they were correct. They took about 25 seconds to load. Seems fine for dial-up to me. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

It depends on what time of the late night you want to use TBN. It's very slow every night in the wee hours. Ibrahim had said he has an auto maintenance program of some sort going late night.

From this morning, 5/28, approx 7:29 EST.

Generated in 45.241 seconds in which 45.222 seconds were spent on a total of 16 queries. Zlib compression enabled

This is usually the time I notice the site bogging down. But it is hit or miss. I will get 2 or 3 pages fast & then one or two slow.
