Is this a common problem ? broken spring in the track adjuster
Any idea on where to find a used one ?

I don’t think think it’s real common but obviously it happens. I think that machine is actually a Yanmar, if you can figure out what Yanmar excavator of the same year is it’s twin might make finding one easier. Do you know if you can buy the spring only and replace? Or possibly it’s only sold as a assembly? I’d call the closest dealer or maybe Conequip to get an idea on new price and availability. Least you’re saving a bundle by doing it yourself
