GC2310.......miss

My tractor will miss every once in a great while -- will have a miss in the engine (like two or three times)....then runs fine for several hours. Kinda sounds like a gas motor when running out of gas. It is not consistent with any one paticular activity. Has around 120 hours. Any ideas??????? Just started doing it this spring. Thanks

Like Steve said, I would guess your miss is from water in the fuel.

How do I check.......or should we drain the tank. If I drain all of the diesel fuel out -- how do I prime the engine? Are there any safe additives to put in the fuel to prevent the problem? Thanks.........................

Dose the GC2310 have a clear cover over the fuel filter? If it dose I would assume you could see the water in the lower part of that cover, it is real easy to see fuel on top of water.

It did it again today.........but heard a click...like when you get off the seat when in the drive mode. Only lasts a second then runs fine. Maybe its one the eletrical safety switches???
