GC-2300 Peddle Adjustment

Can anyone tell me how to adjust the peddle on the GC-2300. When you remove your foot from the peddle, it should return to neutral (center). It is not exactly returning....Is there an adjustment?

Have you greased the zerk fitting on the shaft?

My GC2310's pedal almost always requires a slight touch to return to "full" neutral, either from forward or from reverse. It will require some experience/practice along with a light touch to get it smooth.

There is an adjustment, I don't recall if it covers it in the owners manual. Sometimes, if it isn't too bad, you can just tighten the spring underneath a little bit.

I find that real annoying, too. Especially when creeping up to something I really don't want to touch, like a sliding glass door.

Hmmm, it is appropriate to ask *why* you are sneaking (creeping?) up next to sliding glass doors with your tractor?

At least with the 23xx you don't have to take your foot off the pedal to stop the creep. On the 24xx-26xx do you have to do a pedal dance to stop creep?
