Wow, hmm. One might want to kick the tires a little before he buys anything. Disappointing to see & hear issues with these trailers. Buyer beware no matter what he buys... Right?? Thanks for the information.

Attempting find out any quality issues with these trailers
I am very pleased with mine for the price. It is not top-quality but it cost me about 40% less than top-quality would have. My only serious complaint is wiring, and of course the tires are cheap (I forgot to order radials instead of bias ply and obviously the cheaper one is the default.) I paid $8k and it would have been $14k for a similar trailer from a top brand, so I feel like I made the right choice.

I would definitely purchase another Gatormade trailer. I already knew I was buying a medium-quality product going into it. I picked my trailer up from the factory in Somerset myself, and I did have a small wiring issue fixed before I left, and I had to tighten most of the lug nuts myself as they weren't on tight yet, which kinda surprised me!

OMG... Really you tighten the lug nuts yourself?!? On a trailer you just paid $8000 for!! Really?! Really!!

Yep, I was a little surprised by that, but it had probably only been driven from the factory floor to its parking place out back. I would not put a new or unfamiliar trailer on my truck w/o checking some safety items first anyway, would you? :)

Mine is an enclosed car-hauler type trailer. I got quite a list of factory options and all of this was done very well:
* electric tongue jack, loading winch w/extra battery box
* LED lights, outside loading lights, 12V vent fan
* heavy D-rings in floor, 80ft of recessed e-track
* heavy duty ramp door and 7'6" inside height, 3/4" plywood walls

I really got a bargain. After tightening the lug nuts :) the only thing I want to do to it is replace some of the factory wiring and connectors with stuff that will last longer.

Have 6X12 Gatormade utility trailer. So far no issues with the trailer. However, getting parts is a problem. Made the third call today in as many weeks about the incorrect part sent. They would not make it right unless I paid for the correct part again, then will give me a credit on the wrong parts they sent in error. We are not talking about a lot of money either way, but I would have thought they would want to make it right first, then issue me a refund for the difference (parts they sent in error were more expensive). Instead they get poor marks for parts and customer service. Just expect that if you buy.
