Hey all, my workhorse 4x2 Gator has been burning oil for a little while. It will smoke just a touch at idle but a good bit under a load. It is pretty high time and well cared for. I do not have an hour gauge on it but I bought it second or third hand about 8 years ago. It's been great and doesn't fowl plugs yet.
Am I in for a $1,000+ engine or can I rebuild this Kawasaki? I thought I've read somewhere that these engines are very hard to rebuild correctly and that the cylinder wears into an oval shape or something. I'd love to be able to rebuild it and get it sealed up tight again.
