Garden Tractor no. 12 started today

Here is a picture of the new addition to my herd. It came with a working mower deck and a nice snowblower. It runs good. I will sand it down and repaint it to get a nice shine on it. I will probably also change the tires and install a vertical exhaust pipe . I restored my first 110 about a year ago and got it to shine pretty good. :thumbsup:

Todays progress pic shows the fenders, hood, pully cover and seat bracket all sanded and painted. I also repaired three cracks in the hood before i painted it. Also I got the rear rims painted jd yellow . The tractor came looking more like oliver green and a off yellow on the rims so i have to adjust it a bit :laughing:

Day two , Got the dents hammered out in the seat and sanded and painted. Then I sanded and painted the hood support bars and grill. I painted more rims yellow and started sanding on the rear of the main frame.

I love Olivers too , I love all colors of all equipment . No matter what color of machinery I drive I got a big smile on my face

Would you believe I bought a one owner Bolens Articulating mower Yesterday

I will build a front snowblade for it to plow my driveway this winter :thumbsup:
Here is a picture of the snowblower that came with this 110 . The sheet metal is great on it and a little new paint today it looks great for 50 years old.

Todays progress pic shows the frame sanded and painted and the muffler sanded and painted. It is looking better . This is not a restoration so much as just a little spruce up. Tomorrow will be one week since I hauled it home and I should have it all done by tomorrow night :dance1:
I ordered a extra set of 110 round fenders and they came today . I will also sand and paint those this weekend and start on the 110 round fender trailer on Monday . I will let the 110 tractor sit for a week or so before I wet sand and buff the new paint.

One week ago today I dragged this jd 110 round fender home and today it is much yellower and much greener :dance1:
The new hood decals should arrive next week.
This afternoon I should get the second set of 110 round fenders sanded and painted for the new trailer I will start Mon. :cool2:
