Garden implements

I have a Kubota L4310. I want to use it to work a large garden. How can I set it up for initial hilling of rows and then cultivation? I primarily want to grow sweet corn, potatoes, and bush peas/beans.

I guess I need to buy a toolbar and a combination of pans for hilling potatoes and sweeps for cultivation. The current tire spacing on the tractor is 36" between the 15" rear tires. If I want rows 36 inches on center how do I set the toolbar and tractor up to handle 1-3 rows? I don't even know how many rows to try and set it up for.

My old farmall cub was perfect for this stuff, but it isn't running. How do I make the Kubota take its place.

Edgoat - Your new Kub take place of the old Cub?? Never gonna happen/w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif!! Red, offset, and "perfect"......what more could you ask for??

How bad off is the old gal? Are you gonna end up spending the same $$ settin' up the new one that could fix the old gal? You said it already.....she's perfect. I hate to see her put out to pasture. The attached pic will explain where I'm coming from!! Chuck

The cub is restorable. I actually drove it into a shed 10 years ago and it just never started again. It is still under a shed. I'll get it restored sooner or later. It will surely cost more to fix it than to set up the Kubota. I really need the Kubota to function in the garden as well as it does elsewhere.

It was interesting seeing that old Farmall in the pic...there are at least three similar machines that I've seen out of the corner of my eye in this area. Never noticed them until recently. All the restorations are beautiful.
