Tires Galaxy Tires?

What's the record on Galaxy tires...I would have preferred an American tire but there was not a "Made in the USA" offering for my new 3320. Is this a quality tire? I've noticed that I can smell the rubber...much like the cheap, chemical smell of the China junk - not the good tire smell of the old GoodYear or Firestone stores.

I've heard that JD has entered into an enhanced agreement with Titan...anything to that? Maybe there have been problems. Thanks for the info. MJF

Like most all manufacturers they have some very good tires and they have some lower grades. Overall we've had very good luck with them.

130 hours on mine. No sign of problems.

I got this from the galaxy web site I highlighted the bit in red. Galaxy established its Quality Assurance Center in 1995. Located adjacent to Galaxy's corporate headquarters in Malden Massachusetts, the QA Center ensures that every tire sold meets Galaxy's high standards. In addition to performing all initial sample release testing of new products, the QA Center is responsible for the continuous testing of all Galaxy products. Each and every day products are selected on a random basis for compliance testing to ensure conformity to specifications.

I have 110 hrs on mine, in 7 months they seem fine.

This is just a for future reference note because they more than likely are not available on a 3320. Denman is an American made tractor tire. I just bought a front set last week and it does says Made in U.S.A.. on the side wall. They look like a good quality tire, but I won't know until I put some hours on them.
