I just installed a power flow on my G110 (54 inch deck) and the tension lever on the power flow is just loose and is not connected to anything. I was able to pry the belt on, hoping that once on it would self correct to the proper tension but instead the power flow unit started to smoke, I believe from the belt being too tight. Took it all back apart and there are notches on the tension bar like there should be some kind of spring or bar connect to it. Not sure if anybody has run into this problem or not, LMK, thanks.

OK, so I took the tension spring off that puts tension on the tension pulley on the power flow unit. This allowed the tension pulley to travel all the way backwards to where it butts up against the tension lever, where I think it should be. Originally the tension spring was connected from the first bolt that holds the guide pin in place to the tension pulley. I moved it to the`second bolt for the guide pin and back to its original place on the tension pulley. This allowed for a way looser belt and the lever is now actually putting tension on when you pull it back, just like it said it should be doing in the owners book. Put the unit back on and it seems to be working fine. It looks like they put the spring on in the wrong place from the factory... I think, not sure. I will continue to use it and post if I have problems.
