Does anyone know of a FX26 that might have a buildable engine? I've got one that is not repairable (engine) and need to find a replacement. Maybe something that might interchange and bolt it?

I bought it with the engine in a wash tub and everything is rusted too bad to build. The tractor is nice and I'd like to buy an engine and have it built.

You might find that same engine as a salvaged marine diesel from a boatyard.

Maybe call Aaron at Hoye and see if he has an engine there or if knows if there is an engine that would mate up with the trans for that model. If not call Fredricks and see if they know or could get you one next time they send for a shipment of tractors. Just a thought:scratchchin:

Without going back through the posts, I thought he did and it was like $2500 plus a $1000 core, plus shipping and return shipping.

I didn't catch that in this thread, maybe he did in another one that I haven't followed up on. If that is the case, then that is a large expense.
