FX24

I have a Yanmar FX24D and need help finding upper front drive spindle gear, bearing and seal. Anyone know of a resource for these parts?

Welcom to the forum. :welcome: Not referencing the part numbers I assume you don't have the part numbers. Maybe this can help you. I would start with Hoye. The gear may be hard to come by.

Thanks, I tried Hoye ... no luck.
Fredericks (boneyard type place) had one on a tractor. Great service and took great care to help me out.

I'm sure Fredricks does have a bone yard but they are the only authorized dealership that brings in the greys (such as you FX24D) and completely refurbishes them. Good to hear they did you right.

Bone yard is kind of what I saw but I'm sure those were just parts tractors. Then the building we went through had a BA. Helicopter in it. Been a few yrs. but after seeing that and then looking around I thought who knows what's in all these Buildings. Definitely my kind of place..

I think anytime needing a gear for an FX comes up this is the problem. YOur probalby going to have to find one on a parts tractor. I doubt yanmar USA to be any help. You can find an importer that has the contacts and can get the part from Japan as i am sure its over there new but there also probably a ton of parts units over there to pull from , shipping may kill the deal though. as well as the finders fee that person would charge for services.
