I have a 3010 with 22 Hrs. and running between 2500 and 3000RPM's I figured I'm burning about 1/2 gal. an hour. This seems a little excessive to me . You opinions please
Here is a source for the information from Colo. State that has your answer based on PTO horse power.
It has a listing of PTO hp required for most all farming tasks, with Gal per acre http://www.ext.colostate.edu/pubs/farming/05006.html

On my B2910, doing a variety of tasks, including a lot of loader work, I was getting roughly 8 hours per 5 gallons. That is pretty much in line with Bird's numbers...
Don't we all wish we could get half-gallon per hour milage from our vehicles on the road!
