steps in removing fuel tank on mf 135 diesel? A rub on the fuel gauge sending unit caused mixture of fuel oil and grime on my fuel tank to smoke . Fireman came and poured water all over and in my fuel tank to prevent fire; then he disconnected battery. He suggested that later I could take tank off turn it upside down and drain it to insure all water got out.
I've removed the obvious: sending unit connection, Three 1/2 inch bolts securing the tank on top - two toward the driver, one near the radiator. Now what? Many thanks.
