MF 1433v
After 10 years of trouble free operation, my MF 1433 finally needs a repair!
The fuel line between the pump and the injector manifold sprung a leak and I'll need to replace it.
So part of my holiday will be spent doing this.
I found a near match for the line at the local auto parts store.
By near match, I mean that the inside diameter of the hose is about 1/32" smaller than the hose I'm replacing.
So my question is -
Will that slight diff cause any problems? I.e. is that going to put more stress on the fuel pump since it will be pumping against a slightly higher head?
Could it lead to premature failure of the pump? Will the smaller diameter size lead to performance issues?
Or am I over thinking this?

Happy Thanksgiving!

/ Fuel Line Question #2
Is this a pressure line or a return line. If it is a return line then it's not a problem. If it is a pressure line make sure the line is rated for the pressure the pump puts out. Make sure they are not giving you burst pressure.

Thanks for the reply Bill. It is the pressure line. I did confirm that the line is rated for the pump pressure. It's just the ID of the line that differs from what's currently on the tractor.
