Fuel Filter TC45DA/ TC Series

Good deal ! I was hoping you didn’t pressure it with the line attached to the filter housing. My tank bottom was covered in silt and bio mass. I used a cheap hf electric fuel pump to drain most of it. Then drained the rest from the line. The tank bottoms pretty flat so any debris can be a headache fast. Wish they would have bumped the port up maybe a half inch to a inch. This would help keep a lot of junk from the filter.

The solution to 90% of the junk in the tank is the Kubota drop in strainer for 10 bucks at your local dealer (or Messicks). One size fits all and they come with the necessary sized rubber washers to fit any fuel inlet (except the F20 mowers that is).

Thanks for the info on the Kubota strainer. Do you know it’s part number?

The dirty tank was fortunately not my doing. I traded for my Tc45da. It was a local rental for years and was used in the woods often with a grapple and pto winch. Had just over 5000 hours when I got it.

I unfortunately lug fuel cans for my equipment. But plus side is I never have fuel sitting in barrels for a long period. Usually treat with amsoil fuel additive.
