Frontier AV20 Root Grapple

I was looking at the 2009 Frontier Catalog and noticed that they sell a Frontier AV20 Root Grapple. They have four models;

H series 60" 300 & 400 loaders
E series 62" 400 & 500 loaders
D series 77" 600 & 700 loaders
G series 77" Global loaders

Has anyone seen or used one of these?

Any pros or cons to a Markum or other aftermarket grapple?

I have only seen pictures myself...But I will bet they are a WHOLE lot more than the Markham grapple!

Example: I just ordered a 48" from them with the JD Quick-Attach bracket for just over $900.00 with free shipping. The Frontier is probably double that.

Talked to dealer

He quoted

$2,550 for AV20H
$4,250 for AV20E

I also asked him about cost for Debris Grapples

AD11H 60" $2,900
AD11E 72" $3,100

Makes Markums look a lot more attractive..... Or am I missing something?

Is it a little bigger, or much better steel?
