Tires Front tires on Yanmar 1500D

I have been looking for turf tires for my tractor but now I am just trying to get new tires to get it rolling again.

Can anyone tell me the difference between 6.00-14 and 6-14 tires, if any? One person on ebay said there was a difference but I am not sure.

Also, what would be the widest tire I could put on the front of the Yanmar with the factory wheels? The original tires on the Yanmar are 5-14. Is 8.50 to wide for this size wheel?

The width of the rim will determine the width of tire. Make sure you can still complete a lock to lock turn of the steering wheel without rubbing against anything. The number of plys on the tire will be important if you have a loader.

Depends on tires but I'm pretty sure the 6.00-14 is going to have a larger rolling circumference. This thread gives some good info. http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/yanmar/130149-any-experience-deestone-d402-tires.html You need to be careful not to change your 4 wheel drive ratio.
