Hi all,
There must be some experts on here. I have 20HP Yanmar, dry weight about 1500lbs+500lbs for the loader +the loader will pick up ~1000lbs max. I want to put turfs on the front, the rims that I have available are 14"x5" or 14"x6". The turfs I'm looking at are the diamond tread 6-14 (require 5" rim) and have a capacity of only 660lbs or 25-8.5x14 turfs which require a 7" rim, capacity ~1250lbs.
is 660 enough? can I put a tire that requires a 7" rim on a 6" rim safely, I know I can do it with a car tire, but was wondering about the load.

Please help?

Thanks,
Rob

Technically no. Theoretically yes.

won't two 660 lbs tires give you 1320lbs. I have seen 6x14 turfs on Fitestones site as well as titan's. If you are running a sxs you will also neede to change the rears to match.

I've switched the rears already, I've measure the RCI to get matching fronts. While I agree that 660x2 gives 1320, I'm concerned about the odd situation that this might have a failure, on a hill, load in loader shifted,.....

4wd.

That is the reason I am looking for specific rims and tires for the front. I need to match the rolling circumference and front to rear ratio with my originial AG tires.
