Snow Attachments Front Mount Snow Blower

My father has a JD790 and recently looked into a front mount snow blower for it. I think the price he got was at the dealer that sold him the tractor 4-5 years ago. He was quoted around $4000.00 including the kit to install the mid mount PTO. Installation not included in the price. Has anyone bought one of these? Is that a fair price? Are there any out there that will work and aren't green? If any one has one, how dificult is it to put on/ take off ?

Here is a 59" snowblower listed on Ebay. They claim list price is MSRP $4299.
I bought a like new 46" snowblower for my F735 that list for $2000 for $305. Had to buy about $100 extra parts.

Hey I have a generic PTO driven conversion kit that fits a tractor of about 8-10 ft long.
It formerly had a 60" bervac blower on it.(Bervac made blowers for many compact tractors on an OEM basis).
