front End Fluid

Hi can someone tell me if it is okay to use the trnasmision/hydr fluid in the front end also? Thank-You Mike

On my CK30 you could choose hytrans or gear oil. Since this is a differential with gears, I choose gear oil.

OEM fill was hytrans.

Sorry to tell you i have a CK35 HST.

If your ck35 has 4 wheel drive, I'd think gear oil would be what is used.

My dealer had me switch from gear oil to Hyd/Trans fluid. If it's good enough for the gears in the rear end I don't know why it's not "OK" for the gears in the front end.

We use hydraulic oil.

Don't know if it's because of lower temperature here, but my dealer says to use hyd/oil for the front end
