Hello I am having a terrible time getting the front draft rod back in place. It came right off so what am I doing wrong that I can't get it back into the correct hole or the other side in the groove??
Is this the tie rod that goes between the two front wheels or do you have the all wheel steer model?
If front steer only the tie rod goes under the steering arms on each axle and the nuts go on top. I don’t recall exactly how the steering cylinder sits in relation to the tie rods.

That tractor should have a front mount bracket with a lever arm that goes on left side of the mower. It should have a hook on side of the deck that the bracket slips into and then with cam lever pointing down the front ears on the bracket should hook into slots on the tractor frame mounts. Then rotate the cam lever forward and up to latch in place.
