Can you post a pic of how that ROPS mounts on the b7100? I do not have one on my tractor but am thinking it would not work well with my backhoe attachment (subframe mount). It looks like it would be right where you legs go after you turn the seat around.

Thanks,
Charles

Here are three shots. The shaft for the 3 pt. goes trough the bracket that is welded to the ROPS bar and they sent new chain connectors that are shorter to allow for the thickness of the bracket. Kubota sent me an offer to get the ROPS for about $100.00 about 15 years ago so I went with it. It also came with seatbelts.

I'm curious, Raddad, what did the B7100 cost when you bought it new? Seems like it's been a faithful friend, whatever the cost.

Thanks, Rusty for the transport pin info. Just ordered a pair.

I think I paid $4,400.00.

Everyone: I hope the pins work as well for you, as they have for me. They were first suggested by another TBNer in an earlier post. I can't give proper credit, as I don't remember the post or the poster.

My 7510 has a small bucket too. It's ok for dirt and gravel but it needs to be bigger for snow plowing.

I measured mine and it's actualy 49" wide. I think it could be deeper also. I'm guessing Kobota limits the size to avoud customers stressing the loader and the tractor frame.

Raddad,

Thanks for the pictures of the collector pulley system. I think I like that setup better than the one for the BX. It sits higher off the ground, and is simpler. I know I have very little trouble with the similar setup on my old Simplicity.

Thanks for posting about your B7100. I'm retiring(health reasons) soon and moving to our 140 acre farm in the UP of Michigan. In the process of moving and throwing out junk I ran across my receipt for my B7100. Bought the tractor on April 4, 1978 for $3426.00, Woods RM48 mower $671.00 and Woods BB RB5 $125.00. Only problems I ever had was, something broke inside the 3ph lever assembly and I fixed it for a $5 part and a tube in the right front tire. Of course I should add that I only have 500+ hours total.

WOW I guess these little SCUT's were expensive even back then! In 1977 I paid $6500 out the door for a Forumla 400 Firebird...loaded!
