Has anyone done business with these guys. I placed an order last week (Thursday) and of course my MC shows an immediate charge to it. When I check the order status, I find nothing in terms of shipping info. When I call the toll free number, I get the .."all customer service reps are busy". But instead of the option of waiting for.."next available", you get a "leave your number message".

Does not sound too solid. Any opinions?

This is not sounding right. But if they don't ship by the time the CC bill comes notify the CI of the discrepancy

For sure! The thing about this is the manufacturer (Peterson Electric) gave me this address as I could not find a local distributor that was stocking the item I wanted. I can understand lets say an item is out of stock, but when the only confirmation you get is, ....."thx, we have your order, click here for a tracking no"..and when you find out that nothing has happened after 3 days, coupled with the fact your bank has been hit with the charge, you start to wonder.

I agree that something may be amiss. Have you tried calling the Better Business Bureau in the city where the seller is located? Just a thought.

Guys- call off the dogs! Just got a confirmation with a UPS tracking no. What got me was usually when you order something yo get something within 24 hrs. Then when I could not even talk to a customer service person I got nervous-highly unusual that you can't talk to a CS person.

Murph-Nothing big- a pair of 4-1/2 x 8" Peterson mirrors. Deere wants 200 bucks for factory mirrors for a 4x20 cab tractor. I figure 40 bucks and 10 bucks worth of 3/16 bar stock and I'm in business. and for sure, I will feel a lot less guilty if I'm in the woods and one of these things gets broken vs a big ticket Deere part!
