Found behind old barn - What is it?

I was cleaning up around an old run down barn, and found this...


Looks as if it will make a small platform on the 3-PT... I have no idea what it would be used for...
Maybe I can use it to stack and carry firewood or something....

What is it?
What should it be used for?

Looks like a lift frame for a chain harrow.

In their photo, you can see why a lift frame is desired. Otherwise, you just have to drag it on the ground wherever you go. Some use it with a 3pt boom to lift it for moving.

With my property - I am not sure that I will have a use for this, + The chain was not in that junk pile, but who knows there is still more junk to go through.

I was looking to make a platform to carry 55gal drum, or the 275gal tote full of water to get to my fruit trees.
The steel is good, but I am not sure what kind of weight I can expect it to hold.

Maybe make it into a firewood rack, or just use it as a ballast box frame....

I sure as heck hope not......
My mower has only been around the yard twice... it is a brand new Sitrex 6' finish mower....
That would suck in the worse way.... but with my luck.... the former owner most likely spread the chain around so I get to hit is multiple times....
