While passing an Amish farm yesterday I noted they had coverted a 3 bottom 3pt hitch plow to pull behind a team of horses. I find it ironic that 100 years ago tractors were just being developed, to pull horse drawn equipment; now the circle is being completed. :thumbsup:

(I thought about snapping a pic to post, but consider it to be an invasion of their privacy to do so without asking.)

there still making horse drawn equipment these days. Companies like Pioneer equipment. I have a forecart a friend made for me so i could haul my manure spreader and make my horses haul their own poo hehe:laughing:

I'd bet that these days it would be hard to find new horse drawn plows that don't cost much more than the 3PH variety. Without knowing, I'd bet the Amish farmers can buy a 3PH plow and convert it much cheaper than buying one built specifically for their horses. Almost any tractor dealership is gonna have lots of different 3PH plow choices. Just guessin' here. . . .
