- More than 40 over the years. Ten at any one time. Mostly Ford and New Holland
Now that is cool!!! What task was it performing??
A couple of my past blues , 6610 turbo and 7810
Dowdswell (british plough ) The tractor is a 7810 (6 cylinder )Very nice! What make rollover plow is that on the 7610? We M&W turboed our Ford 5000's to get comparable horsepower to the next sized model.

Here is my Ford 1520 I purchased this past spring. This was an upgrade for me from my Ford 8N. Power steering, live hydraulics and dual stage clutch is really nice. The little diesel engine has given me all the power I need.

Very, very nice 1520. Has it been restored/repainted?? How many hours on it?? Nice.![]()
I got this in 5000 mid-October. No idea the number of hours (lots). My first tractor, by the way, and I got it to bush-hog and chip on my piece of dirt.
Here she is as purchased:

Oh wow!!!
I'm speechless and that's unusual.....

Welcome to TBN.
Check that out Happy.![]()
Thanks for the compliments and the welcome.
It was actually less a restoration than a refurbishment. She looks great from 50 feet...
Front end was shot, so spindles, right-hand axle knee, tie-rods, bushings and bearings. Lots of steam-cleaning and sandblasting. New radiator, thermostat, hoses and such. And she needed a dash and re-wiring, of course, one new front rim, and three new tires. Mostly I wanted to slow down the deterioration and begin to make her more reliable so I can clean up my property. She's obviously been neglected and abused and wore an FEL in her previous life, so I guess it's natural that the front end was worn out.
I didn't realize that these are considered "vintage" when I bought her, but I'm beginning to figure out what that means.
