Forgot the information part (Old Age) 1941 9N was my Great Grandfathers and the dual wheels were on it for hillside mountain duty not because it had so much horse power. I also have the PTO pulley that he used to run a sawmill and corn grinder

I had this tractor for over 15 years before giving it back to a dear friend of mine. It was his grandpa's and he bought it new. When his grandpa passed away he inherited it and had nothing to do with it so I kept it up for him and raked hay and gardened with it until recently giving it back. It has 797 original hrs. on it and is as tight as one I have ever seen. It still has the original dealer decals on it. One under hood, one on steering column and one on each fender.

Nice!!! Sometimes wish I had an FEL for my 3910. But since the Kubota has one the Ford is left with all the other duties!!!

Someone educate me. Was the "30" series the end of the Ford labeling?? Anyone know what year Ford labeling ended??

Terry, them's the fatest Turf tires I've ever saw!!!! She looks like a Winston Cup car!!!!! In it's previous life it must have been a Grounds Keeper tractor??

Close, Richard. It's left over from my turf farming days. I can't find any pics of the New Holland TL80 I sold recently. It had 44inch wide tires on the rear. 16" Mickey Thompson's on the front.

My Dad bought a 641 new in 1959. Sadly, I only have two pictures of it.

First is with my cousin sitting on it. Second is with me driving it pulling an Oliver square bale hay baler with my Dad riding the wagon.

I clearly remember the day the dealer delivered it on a single axle flat bed C series Ford truck. Wish I had a picture of that. I had never saw anything as spectacular as that!!!!

By 1990 Ford sold a major share of the tractor operation to Fiat of Italy, who finally bought the remaining share in 1994. The use of the Ford name being phased out by agreement by 2000.

That is what I found on bing.

Thru those transitions you could see the "Ford Personality" disappearing. Not saying that was good or bad. But it was noticeable. I don't see any resemblance now between New Holland and Ford. Even though they have tried to revive it with their 8N and Workmaster references. Again, not saying bad or good just different.

Great pics!

My Mom was pretty good about taking pics. Before she died she designated me as the successor for keeping family pics. I try. My Mom took these old photos with one of those Kodak box cameras that you held down by your waist and looked down into the top of it, can't remember their technical name. :)

Here's one of my favorite pics. It's my Great Grandfather with his Model T.

Here's another of me and my Dad with a Flathead catfish that he noodled. Notice both pics have Fords in them so they apply to this thread..... :)

I love old pics. I wish I had more. Can't seem to find the photo of our Ford 640 (like ovrszd) with Arps halftracks installed.

Here's my mid 70's Ford 8600 and one of two 1976 Ford 5000's

I found this one of our 1950's Ford 640.

The raised fenders and idler wheels were to accommodate the use of Arps half tracks. It was traded in for two diesel Ford 3000's shortly after this pic was taken.
