Ford 7740 help. Please.

I have a 7740 powerstar SLE with a analog/electronic display panel.
When the tractor warms to a certain point I get an E-51 code
Does anyone know what that codes means and how to troubleshoot it?

SGOTI says it's a transmission temperature sensor error. Maybe loose/broken wire or bad sensor. The sensor is located on the right side of the transmission.

This unit does not have a temp. sender it only has temp. switches.

I saw that on the machine but my local service guy was telling me it was somewhere else and after searching and not finding it we finally concluded tis model only has switches and this code was for a different model.
Where would I find a wiring diagram to troubleshoot this circuit?

Forty series SLE tractor wiring diagrams are in multiple pages. Some are in the electrical section of the service manual, some are in the transmission book. You won't find any simple diagrams anywhere for free.

I have a service manual but I just can't seem to find the correct diagram but now that I know it has a sender and I know where it is located I'll have another look.
