ford 4500 what's this lever for

Can anyone tell me what this lever is for. I can't find anything on it.
It pulls out from the casing and then you can move it down.

It could be a flow diverter to power backhoe // 3pt. Can't be used at same time.

Select-o-speed transmission? It is the traction disconnect. Allows you to roll/tow a non-running tractor.

That sounds right. I cant think of anything else it would be. The hydraulics are on the front of the loader and it has no pto or 3pt.
What you said makes sense.
I believe it is a select-o-speed. It has 4 speeds and then a lever to change from forward to reverse. Automatic clutch.

That's not a Select-o-speed transmission it is a 4 speed Power Reversing transmission. But it could be a transplant into a SOS tractor.

I found a manual online and it said it was a driveline disengagement lever.
