Ford 3910

my Ford 3910 sat all summer with a new battery(spring 2011) & now it won't even start to turn over! Checked battery & it was holding 12.47 volts! It ran fine when I put it away! I'm lost!!!

Did you clean the terminals? Its possible its corroded or one of the terminals isn't making good contact.

yes I cleaned the terminals, also the dash & the headlights work! That's why I'm confused!?!

check to make sure the high low lever is in neutral there is a safety switch on that lever and you might try wriggling it while trying to crank it

rich: Have you tried to jump it with other tractor/truck with known good battery? My tn had the same problem, would just click starter. Checked voltage, and it looked good. Jumped it and it would charge up slightly, and then maybe start 1 time. wouldn't next. New battery cured problem. :thumbsup:
