I recently replaced the PTO shaft seal on my Ford 2000 3cyl.gas tractor. The 3 Pt.was working fine before I replaced the seal.After replacing the seal and refilling the rear end with Hyd.fluid , when I try to prime the Hyd. Pump with the tractor idling, there is no fluid coming out of the pump at the bleed screw. Thanks for any help!

Maybe the pump is a bit worn and doesn't suck as good as a new one. I'd suggest you up the RPMs to get better suction and have the 3 pt lift lever in the down position....if that matters....won't hurt.
