Ford 2000 (3 Cyl) Headlight Problem

I recently purchased a 1974 Ford 2000 tractor that I am in the process of restoring. The tractor appears to have the original headlight fixtures, but the bulbs and headlight rings are missing. I purchased new 4419 sealed beams and a set of 1 inch rings from Steiner Tractor. However, the parts don't seem to fit. As I tighten the ring retainer screw, the ring pulls away from the groove in the fixture. Is the 4419 bulb correct for this tractor? Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Perhaps I am doing something wrong. Thanks.

all depends on what shells it has. headlamps were a dealer installed item. there were common shells used, things like tract o llights etc. but there could have been other shells sourced.. or sometime in the last 41 years, someone might have changed them!
