Ford 1710 Steering

I have a Ford 1710 and a 2110 compact. Need to replace steering wheel on 1710 and have extra 2110 steering wheel. Any one know if the 2110 wheel will fit right on the 1710? At my age it's a lot of work to find out it won't fit. Thanks. John.

didja check yer parts manuals?

here are the numbers... 3 cyl machine.. no... 4 cyl machine.. maybee, unless the 2110 is manual steering..

RickB may have something to add... All I did was lookup numbers out of the parts section. Note.. the 1710 offset..has the same numbers listed as the regualr 1710.

Thanks. I don't have access to a parts number book. Both are power steering. 1710 is 1985 standard model, 2110 is 1983 4 cylinder. Looks like you info says they use the same wheel. Thanks again. John

parts listing is available freely online from the new holland web site if you don't have a parts manual.. just hit the site and do a parts search, then input your model tractor, then you can pull up explode ddiagrams and parts list by system.
