Ford 3000

I was gifted a gas ford 3000. Unknown what year it is, but the previous owner said it ran when parked.
But I will be using it with my metal recycling business. I currently have a John Deere 770 4x4 but with its hydraulics are not working it's best,I need a little more lifting capacity.

When receiving a new to you old tractor, what is your first item on your reviving list?
I guess to see if the motor is frozen.

Do your best and get it to run or try to start. Battery/starter will be first. My NTM 2000 CL. needed TLC. was comical. It did run was true. Barely, And about it to!!

Pull the oil drain plug and see if any water comes out.

Some WD 40 sprayed into each cylinder before you try to start it. While the plugs are out check for spark. I had a gas 2000 some years back - a decent little tractor for what it was
