Foot throttle?

I have quick question about older tractors without a foot throttle. How do you do any loader work witout a foot throttle? I am looking at a JD 2155 that does not have foot throttle buy has a power reverser. Can you add a foot throttle? do they make a kit? thanks for any input.

I'm not familiar with the JD model your talking about, but I rarely use a foot throttle doing loader work. You can just set the tractor rpm's to where you have the hydraulics pumping fast enough for good steering and lifting. If you have it in the right gear you can be pretty efficient. If you are digging it will take more rpm's than just shuttling material around.

The 2155 should have a foot throttle. Here is the parts diagram from the JD Parts site.
