Folks not tying down their trash!!!!

We contract with a local trash hauler (no county pickup) to take it to the local landfill over an hour away. I have an old 4x8 box trailer that serves as my trash storage until pickup day.
Tried renting a dumpster and was quoted 900 per month with bi weekly pickup 15 years ago, yeah right.

In CO all loads brought to the county landfills are double the cost if not covered. Trash disposal is so expensive now you dont see many people paying that premium.

Trash pickup starts early so often people will put it out the night before. Yet we've all seen it; bags torn open by ravens, raccoons or Rover, or just blown out into the road. Nobody takes the time to pick it up.

I haul mine to the transfer station.

I don't have trash service.
I burn at least 80% of my refuse.
Cans/bottles and scraps scraped into a small countertop compost I empty at the gas station when I fill up my car.
Generally small walmart bags twice a week.
