I have used "Nutri-Sol" for many years with no change in Ph or acidic levels in the tank after cleaning and flushing. Pat Garret PHD from Dallas, Texas (WBAP 820) recommends to use one tank for caustic chemicals and another for organic or fetilizer applications. This is unrealistic for most people. The berry farmers here do use different sprayer for these purposes but they make a ton of money from their crops. Read the instructions on the Nutri-Sol and hopefully you will have favorable results as I have in raising our palm trees and cyads. I have not had any residual effects but our sprayers are cleaned immediately after use and no mix is allowed to sit in the tank over night. Water rinse, Nutri-Sol agitation and run through, 2 more water rinses, leave the cap open to let the inside of the tank dry and do not store in the sun. Do remember to clean the sprayer hose and wand inside and out. And yes, the rubber gaskets do benefit from an application of vaseline.
