Well, there are some very annoying drivers PASSING too.

In heavy traffic, where the left lane is moving at a reasonable clip, but more or less bumper to bumper as far as the eye can see, there are people who jump into the right lane to pass 2 or 3 cars on the right, then try to squeeze back into the left lane to pass the next truck in front of them.

Yeah, those people are PITA. I try like heck to keep them from cutting back in to the fast lane. They just make it worse for everyone else since they almost always cause the car in back of them to slam on the brakes which cascades through the line of cars. On our last trip we only had a few people do this though so we were lucky.

Many decades ago their was a write in the local paper who had a great idea. Everyone would be issued a dart gun that shot darts with suction cups. Whenever the POlice saw a car with three darts on it, the officer would write them up for a Stupid Violation. :thumbsup::laughing::laughing::laughing: I wish we could do such a thing. It really would stop some of the nonsense we see on the roads.

I could imagine today, it would be paint ball guns.

No doubt some people would use the fully automatic paint ball guns to display their discontentment about certain other drivers.

I had a very hard time adjusting when I got back to the states from Germany. Everyone can learn something from the courtesy that is given on the roads in Germany. People will actually move over to the edge of the road on a two lane road to make it easier for you to pass over there.

When I got my Audi, the wife was appalled at the lack of cupholders and make-up mirrors.. They just dont do that while driving. While driving, they drive.
